The students are identified as John Doe-1 and John Doe-2. In the two latest lawsuits, the students, now both 57, alleged they were abused by a teacher only identified by initials. The school district is now facing eight lawsuits alleging middle school students were sexually abused by two teachers in the 1970s. The lawsuits were filed in Superior Court in Flemington on Monday, one day before the deadline for filing civil sex abuse lawsuits, after the state suspended the statute of limitations for two years.
